Hello, I’m Olya Toltinova, a Human-Computer-Interaction designer and Creative Technologist based in Augsburg, Germany.
My work explores how digital systems can become more spatial, tangible, and understandable, from XR interfaces for human-robot collaboration to interactive installations for museums and education.
With a background in Information Design and an M.A. in Interactive Media Systems, I work across research, concept development, prototyping, usability testing, and visual design.
I am especially interested in interfaces that connect bodies, machines, materials, and knowledge: experimental XR control for collaborative robots, tangible tools for learning and work, and exhibition experiences that turn complex scientific or operational processes into intuitive interaction.
My practice moves between design research and hands-on making. I prototype with Figma, Unity/OpenXR, Blender, TouchDesigner, and rapid physical prototyping methods, shaping ideas into experiences that can be tested, felt, and refined.
Let's get in touch
